I'm happy to announce that this Wednesday I'll be presenting a webinar organized by Novedge, covering different design strategies for the creation of 3D patterns and textures using Rhino and Grasshopper.
Like for all Novedge webinars, participation is free. If you are interested you can register at Novedge.com.
Unlike the recent webinar I presented through Car Body Design's YouTube channel, for this new one a basic knowledge or familiarity with Rhino and Grasshopper is recommended.
If you are new to Grasshopper you can find a short introduction at 11:24 in the video below, followed by a basic hands-on demo.
I'm looking forward to virtually meeting you on Wednesday!
UPDATE: here is the webinar recording.
Good monrning Marco,
yesterday i´ve watched your webinar and learned some new tips and techniques. Thanks for sharing your knowlegde.
I leaved a question in the comment section about a common problem in my workflow, but there was no time anymore, so my question was unanswered.
I hope that you could find some time to help me, because i want create a pattern with a curve attraction over more than one surface, which are allinged togehter. Do you know a solution without transforming the sourface bound into a mesh?
Thanks in advance for your time.
Best regards
Remi
Hi Remi,
I sent you a direct email with a possible solution.
Hi Marco,
is there a record of this webinar? On the Novedge Website is stating: Please check in a few hours. However, the date is quite some time in the past now. Very appreciated if you could post a link.
Hi Max,
I realized that the webinar page on Novedge does not include the recorded video.
